We Work With You From Day One
Most knitwear manufacturers require large volumes, established relationships, and ready-made tech packs before they even respond to an inquiry. We work differently. Decide Fashion was built for those who are still developing their product buyers with a clear vision but no production connection, designers who need a real sample before committing to bulk, and brands that want consistent quality without locking into thousands of units from the start. We handle the full process, and we keep you informed at every step.
Low MOQ and Flexible Production
High minimum order quantities are one of the main reasons small brands struggle to work with knitwear manufacturers. We keep our minimums accessible.
✔️ Minimum Order Quantity: 100 pieces per style
✔️ Small Batch Production: Available for new collections, test runs, and seasonal drops
✔️ Scalable: From 100 units to thousands as your business grows
✔️ No Multi-Style Requirement: You can start with a single style
This makes us a practical option for brands at an early stage and for established buyers who want to test a new category before committing to volume. → How low MOQ production works

Yarn and Fabric Standards
The quality of a knitwear piece starts with the yarn. We work with a range of yarn types depending on your design requirements, end use, and target market.
✔️ Cotton and Organic Cotton: Breathable, soft, and suitable for year-round wear
✔️ Merino Wool: Fine, temperature-regulating, and premium in feel

✔️ Acrylic and Synthetic Blends: Durability, color retention, and cost efficiency
✔️ Recycled Yarn Options: Available for brands with sustainability requirements
✔️ Custom Yarn Sourcing: We source based on your specifications if you have a specific material in mind
We work with internationally recognised fabric certifications to meet the sourcing and compliance requirements of brands in different markets.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Every component of the finished garment is tested for harmful substances. This is a baseline requirement for brands selling into European markets where consumer and regulatory textile safety standards are high.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
For brands that require certified organic production from raw material to finished garment. GOTS covers both environmental standards — including responsible chemical use and wastewater management — and social standards such as fair wages and safe working conditions. If your brand communicates organic credentials to your customers, GOTS is the recognised benchmark.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
For brands working with recycled content. GRS verifies the recycled material claims in your product and tracks the chain of custody from source to finished garment. This matters for brands that want to make credible recycled material claims without greenwashing risk.
Gauge and Construction
Gauge determines the density and texture of a knitted fabric. Choosing the right gauge affects the drape, weight, and overall feel of the finished piece.
✔️ Fine Gauge (14gg and above): Lightweight, smooth fabric suitable for fitted styles and layering pieces
✔️ Mid Gauge (7gg to 12gg): Versatile weight used for most sweaters, cardigans, and everyday knitwear
✔️ Chunky Gauge (3gg to 5gg): Heavier, textured fabric for bold knits and winter collections
In terms of construction method, we work with both fully fashioned knitwear — where each panel is shaped during knitting for a precise fit and minimal waste — and cut and sew knitwear, which is more suitable for larger volumes and consistent silhouettes.
We advise you on the right combination for your product during the planning phase. If you are unsure which direction to go, please get in touch.
Why Decide Fashion
25+ Years of Textile Manufacturing Experience
Our founders have worked across the European fashion industry since the late 1990s, with direct experience in knitwear development and brand production. That background shapes how we approach every project.

A Process Built Around You
We work with first-time buyers and experienced production managers alike. Our process is structured to guide those who are newer to manufacturing without slowing down those who are not.
Transparent Costs and Timelines
We tell you what production costs and how long it takes before you commit. No vague estimates, no hidden charges discovered mid-project.
Turkey-Based Manufacturing Advantage
Turkey has a deep and established knitwear manufacturing infrastructure — experienced production teams, strong yarn sourcing networks, and finishing capabilities that match international quality standards. Working with a Turkey-based manufacturer also means shorter lead times and easier communication for European buyers.
Everything Under One Roof
Yarn sourcing, pattern making, sampling, production, quality control, and logistics are handled by the same team. One point of contact throughout the entire process.
Why Manufacture Knitwear in Turkey?
Turkey has been one of Europe’s primary textile sourcing destinations for decades. That reputation is not accidental — it is built on a combination of manufacturing infrastructure, material access, and geographic proximity that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.
For knitwear specifically, Turkey offers a well-developed production ecosystem. Yarn mills, knitting facilities, finishing units, and quality control infrastructure are all concentrated within the same region. This means shorter internal lead times, better coordination between production stages, and fewer handoff points where quality can slip.
Geographic Proximity to European Markets
Turkey sits at the edge of Europe. For buyers in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Italy, and Scandinavia, this translates into faster delivery, lower freight costs, and the ability to reorder and restock without the long wait times associated with Asian sourcing. Enjoy fast logistics with 5-7 business days via road or 2 days via air to major European hubs like Germany and the UK.
Strong Yarn and Raw Material Access
Turkey is one of the world’s leading producers of cotton and has deep relationships with wool, merino, and synthetic yarn suppliers. This gives manufacturers direct access to raw materials without the delays and markups that come with international sourcing chains.
Skilled Production Workforce
Turkish knitwear production is supported by a workforce with generational expertise in garment construction. Pattern makers, knitting machine operators, and finishing teams in Turkey bring a level of craft knowledge that shows in the finished product.
Cost Efficiency Without Quality Trade-Offs
Producing in Turkey offers a meaningful cost advantage over Western European manufacturing without the quality compromises that can come with lower-cost alternatives further east. For brands that need to manage margins while maintaining product standards, this balance is one of the main reasons Turkey remains a preferred sourcing destination.
Real Production Experience
Numbers and client outcomes tell a clearer story than promises.
3,000+ Clients Served
Over the course of our production history, we have worked with more than 3,000 clients — from first-time founders bringing a single idea to market, to established labels managing seasonal collections.
95% Client Satisfaction Rate
The majority of clients who work with us come back for their next collection. That consistency comes from keeping the process transparent, delivering on timelines, and treating every project as a long-term relationship rather than a single transaction.
From Startup to International Stage
One of our recent clients, Othman, came to us at the idea stage. We supported them through concept development, design direction, sampling, and full production. Their collection debuted at Pitti Immagine Uomo 2025 — one of the most respected menswear trade events in the world. That result speaks to what this kind of partnership can produce.

Europe-Focused Production
We work primarily with brands and buyers based in Europe. Our clients are building labels, sourcing for retail, and developing private label collections across the European market. Turkey-based production gives them the quality, lead times, and communication they need without the complications of sourcing further away.

Our Production Process
1. Inquiry
Share your design reference, sketch, or product brief. We discuss yarn preferences, gauge direction, construction approach, and any technical requirements.
2. Yarn and Detail Planning
We source yarn options based on your design direction and present them for your review. Construction method, gauge, and finishing details are confirmed before sampling begins.
3. Sample Development
A prototype sample is developed in approximately 14 days. We guide you through a fitting and quality review, make any required adjustments, and proceed only once you approve the sample. While timelines depend on complexity, average bulk production for 500-1,000 units typically ranges from 4 to 6 weeks.
4. Bulk Production
Production begins after sample approval. We provide clear timelines and keep you updated throughout. No surprises, no hidden steps. With a monthly capacity of 10,000 units, we are equipped to scale with your brand’s growth.
5. Quality Control and Delivery
Every order goes through quality control before shipment. We handle packaging, documentation, and door-to-door delivery to your location.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer low MOQ knitwear production?
Yes. Our minimum order quantity starts at 100 pieces per style. We work with brands and buyers who are not ready for large volume runs and want to start at a manageable scale.
What yarn types do you work with?
We work with cotton, organic cotton, merino wool, wool blends, acrylic, recycled yarn, and custom-sourced options. Yarn selection is part of the planning stage and depends on your design requirements and target market.
Can you develop knitwear samples before bulk production?
Every project starts with sample development. We build a prototype, guide you through fitting and quality review, and move to bulk only after you approve the sample.
What is the difference between fully fashioned and cut and sew knitwear?
Fully fashioned knitwear shapes each panel during the knitting process, resulting in a precise fit and less material waste. Cut and sew knitwear is knitted as a flat fabric and then cut and assembled, which is more suitable for higher volumes and consistent silhouettes. We advise on the right approach during the planning stage.
Do you support private label knitwear manufacturing?
Yes. We produce knitwear under your brand’s label with your woven labels, hangtags, and custom packaging. → See our private label manufacturing service
Are your fabrics certified?
Yes. We work with fabrics certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, GOTS, and GRS depending on your product requirements.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 confirms that every component of the finished garment has been tested for harmful substances. GOTS covers organic production from raw material to finished garment, including environmental and social standards. GRS verifies recycled material claims and tracks the chain of custody from source to finished garment.
How long does knitwear production take?
Sample development takes approximately 14 days. Bulk production timelines depend on order volume, style complexity, and yarn sourcing requirements. We provide a clear schedule at the start of every project.
Can you help if I only have a sketch or a mood board?
Yes. Many of our clients come to us at the idea stage. We work with you through yarn selection, construction planning, and pattern development to turn your concept into a sample. → Learn more about our pattern making service
